Charles J Leone is a visionary with operational focus, and strong leadership spending over 25 years in senior executive roles and 36 years overall experience for one of the largest university public safety and police operations in the country. From police officer to line supervisor to executive director and chief of police, Leone had many opportunities to develop a toolbox of problem solving. Proven strategic plan effectiveness with eight years of downward trending crime using technology, collaborating with stakeholders, and operational excellence reducing incidents on campus in buildings by 60%.
Leone was involved in numerous new construction. renovation, and landscaping-design projects recommending and overseeing the security infrastructure. Leone is also a volunteer Board Vice-Chair offering best practice governance for Central Division Victim Services, a successful non-profit victim advocacy provider.
